What is the intended idea / concept behind the proposed project?

To increase and provide support for those effective with mental health, whilst also being a hub of information for those who don’t quite understand mental health.

The output of the project will be in two digital platforms, an app and an website, and will provide those with mental health the everyday tools, that they maybe wouldn’t have thought about using, in order to help them get through their day or a tough moment. It will be using every day digital tools such as calendars, map, alarms, notes, video calling and messaging in order to plan/manage their time, stop them from forgetting appointments or medication, keeping up with information, a place to go for support in different formats, things that will make it possible for the users to get through conditions that exacerbate their disorders.

I’ve decided that i’m going to try and stick with my theme that i chose for my presentation or at least the category of mental health, but instead of just picking up from where i left off last semester. I’ve started the research from scratch and see if anything i find or read forms any potential ideas.  Im collecting all the research i find onto my padlet account so its all kept in one place and it’s easy to access from anywhere.

Today as group in the workshop we looked at the module guide and assignment brief in more detail and began discussing what research was and what it meant to actually go about researching. After this we were set a task to set up a Padlet account and research one of four topics from Clives choices, i chose ‘The rise of Netflix and Amazon”.
