My Logo

Screen Shot 2016-03-11 at 09.29.09

When I was designing my logo, I wanted to create something that could be easily linked to health, and living well. I thought something nature related would work while, because when you think of nature, you also think of life, health and living. I first tried creating a tree logo but I felt it didn’t work too well, this led to me using the leaves. I chose the colours green, orange and yellow for the logo, because they were the colours I thought represented health and living the best, but not only that I wanted to use gender neutral colours and that appealed to everyone.

Promo video planning

When I was drawing my storyboard, I needed inspiration. I had no idea where to start. So I did some research and found this website. Its portfolio is full of varuous different promotional videos, but also has a lot of app ones. I watched a lot of these and eventually came up with my idea. I decided I wanted my video to short, sweet and simple.

By watching these videos it also helped me identify the type of language i should be using in my own video.

When Advertising on Facebook you can choose two types of Ad Budgets, and daily one or a lifetime one.

The daily one is where you have a set amount to spend a day, (this is one I chose) and my limit was £10 a day. Where the lifetime you run your ad for a specific length of time and pace your spending over this time.

Can also be used for mid-scale meetings, training and workshops.

Room has own kitchen facilities ”

Audience Research

I researched which demographic is affected the most by mental health. I found this information mostly from statistics, some of the statistics I found were:

  • Mental health problems affect about 1 in 10 children and young people. However 70% of them who experience a mental health problem have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age.
  • There’s an assumption that mental health problems are a ‘normal’ aspect of ageing but most older people don’t develop mental health problems.
  • According to figures from the 2000 national survey of psychiatric morbidity in the YK, the prevalence of mental health disorders is slightly higher among females, affecting 19 per cent of women aged 16 to 74, compared to 14 per cent of men.
  • In addition, the prevalence rates for any mental health problem were found in women age 50-54
  • Because women have a higher life expectancy than men, they make up a larger proportion of the elderly population and stand a higher chance of being diagnosed with a mental health problem
  • The largest increase in rate of common mental disorders between 1993 and 2007 was observed in women aged 45-64.
  • 31 percent of people who needed support from someone’s in the NHS health services with their physical health needs said that they had not received support but would have liked it.

According to Big White Wall’s website their demographic is majority aged between 16-24 and most are female.

Chathealth target their services at teenagers between 11-19. Elefriends is also aimed at young people.  Whereas Babylon health demographic is primarily moms and older women.
